Brian and Esther Matthews are the owners of Great Southern Drilling Services, a locally owned and operated business based in Manjimup. As local producers, they understand the importance of reliable water access and water security for rural properties, farms and homes throughout the region.

Brian Matthews

Driller

Behind Great Southern Drilling Services is Brian, owner and operator, bringing over 15 years of industry experience to every project.

As a Class 3 Licensed Waterwell Driller and member of the Australian Drilling Industry Association, Brian carries out each project from start to finish, with a focus on quality work, fair pricing and practical solutions.

When you engage Great Southern Drilling Services, you’re dealing directly with the person behind the drill.

Esther Matthews

Operations

Esther manages the day-to-day operations of Great Southern Drilling Services, handling client enquiries, scheduling and general coordination behind the scenes. She also works onsite as the driller’s offsider — still learning the ropes, but always willing to lend a hand and keep jobs running smoothly throughout the drilling process (preferably without too much heavy lifting).
